Congratulations! You have been selected for the Campus for Finance – WHU New Year's Conference 2020 and we are looking forward to welcoming you on our campus on January 15 & 16, 2020. To make your visit as enjoyable and pleasant as possible, we have collected some valuable pieces of information regarding your participation.
We kindly ask you to pay the conference fee as soon as possible via our online tool by logging into your account and clicking the “Campus for Finance – WHU New Year's Conference 2020” link. The fee will be displayed on the next screen. Please click “Pay Now” and follow the instructions to pay by credit card (VISA, MasterCard or AMEX) or via direct transaction from your bank account (only possible with a German bank account).
You will not incur any other expenses than the participation fee. Accommodation on the conference days and full catering are included.

Free accommodation in one of our guest houses or with a WHU student is included in your participation fee. Please consider that in some cases it might be required to bring your own sleeping bag. However, we will definitely take care of an appropriate accommodation during the conference. You will receive a separate email once we have allocated you to a particular type of accommodation. Furthermore the dresscode for the entire event will be business casual.
The campus of WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Vallendar is located one hour from Frankfurt International Airport (FRA), Frankfurt Hahn Airport (HHN) and Cologne/Bonn Airport (CGN). From Frankfurt International Airport and Cologne/Bonn Airport you can easily reach Vallendar by train. Arriving by train you can choose between the small station directly in Vallendar, which is within walking distance from the WHU and the central station in Koblenz, where shuttles will be provided on the 14.01.2019 from 16:00 o´clock until 01:00 o´clock on the 15.01.2019 to get you to the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Vallendar.
You will participate in one workshop organized by one of our sponsors. The workshops will be allocated according to the sponsors' preferences.
Please be aware that we are sometimes not able to fulfill all of our participants preferences regarding the workshop.
There are several speeches that take time at the same time slot. In order to ensure that you can visit your preferred speeches, you will receive a separate email from us approximately one week before the conference. We ask for your understanding that allocation will be based on a first come first served principle. You can find an up-to-date version of our programme here.
The Campus for Finance MiF Scholarship is a unique opportunity for participants of the Campus for Finance - WHU New Year's Conference who are also interested in studying in the Master in Finance (MiF) program at WHU. In case you have been granted a Travel Cost Stipend please make sure to bring all of your receipts, without them we will not be able to refund your travel expenses. Travel costs will only be covered in case that your receipts proof that you made the travel only for the conference (outward journey maximum some days before). Otherwise we will not be able to refund your expenses!
We will refund the travel costs in cash during the career fair on the second day of the conference. This will be the only time when you can collect the refund.
