Your Participation

Congratulations! You have been selected for the Campus for Finance – WHU Private Equity Conference 2017 and we are looking forward to welcoming you on our campus on March 30 & 31, 2017. To make your visit as enjoyable and pleasant as possible, we have collected some valuable pieces of information regarding your participation. 

Accommodation and Check-in

All accommodation costs are included in your participation fee and so no further payments are required. This year, as a result of very positive feedback, we have decided to host all participants with WHU students. You have received an email with the information about your host and we would like to kindly remind you to contact him/her before your arrival to ensure that he/she has all necessary information regarding your stay. If you have not received an email, please contact me immediately!

The check-in will be open on Wednesday from 15:00 until 01:00. On Thursday, we will open the check-in at 08:00 am and will remain open the entire day. Please, however, ensure you have checked in by 10:00 am.

Arrival

The campus of WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Vallendar is located one hour from
Frankfurt International Airport (FRA), Frankfurt Hahn Airport (HHN) and Cologne/Bonn Airport (CGN). From Frankfurt International Airport and Cologne/Bonn Airport you can easily reach Vallendar by train.
Please ensure you arrive at Vallendar station as it is within walking distance to the WHU. Should you, however, arrive at Koblenz Hauptbahnhof, please be aware that we will only be offering shuttles from 15:00 until 23:00 on Wednesday, and 07:00 until 10:00 on Thursday.

Workshops

You will participate in one workshop organized by one of our sponsors. The workshops will be allocated regarding the sponsors preferences which you have indicated during the registration process. Please be aware that we are sometimes not able to fulfill all of our participants’ preferences regarding the workshop. If our selected workshop does not meet your preferences, please feel free to contact us so we can find a solution together. You will receive an email with information regarding your workshop before the conference.

Campus for Finance MiF Scholarship

The Campus for Finance MiF Scholarship is a unique opportunity for participants of the Campus for Finance - WHU Private Equity Conference who are also interested in studying in the Master in Finance (MiF) program at WHU. In cooperation with WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management, we are proud to offer the Campus for Finance MiF Scholarship. Travel Cost Stipend

In case you have been granted a Travel Cost Stipend please make sure to bring all of your receipts, without them we will not be able to refund your travel expenses. Travel costs will only be covered in case that your receipts proof that you made the travel only for the conference (outward journey maximum some days before). Otherwise we will not be able to refund your expenses!

Cancellation

In case you need to cancel your participation we would appreciate if you could briefly send an email to students@cff-pec.com since we have to properly plan the capacities and inform applicants who are currently on the waiting list.
