Jans Meckel has been at Goldman Sachs for over 20 years. As Co-Head of EMEA Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities Derivatives Origination, Jans Meckel also leads risk management for Austria, Benelux, Germany, France, and Switzerland within the Financing Group. With over two decades at Goldman Sachs, his career reflects deep expertise across European capital markets and global financing.
He joined the investment bank as an analyst in 2002 after graduating from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management as one of the top students in his class. At Goldman Sachs, Mr. Meckel has worked in Corporate Risk Management, Corporate Finance, and Debt Capital Market since he became a Managing Director in 2011. Mr. Meckel has also worked in the Securities Division in London and Frankfurt.
