After obtaining a banking diploma at a leading German private bank, Boris studied at the Universities of Bonn, Münster (PhD in history) and Düsseldorf (PhD in law). After eight years in a law firm associated with a Big Four audit company, Boris became head of that firm’s Munich office in 2012. From 2014 to 2017 he spent four years at an international law firm leading the European China Desk which was awarded in 2015 with the China-Focused Corporate Law Firm of the Year Germany. Boris started working for KPMG Law Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH in February of 2018. Boris advises mainly on M&A and private equity transactions as well as cross-border restructuring and corporate compliance matters. He also assists in corporate financing transactions.
Furthermore, Boris heads the Legal China Country Practice and has profound experience in advising both Chinese investors and European companies on M&A transactions and corporate compliance structures.
