Hannes is founding partner of Avedon Capital Partners. He heads the smart industries sector team, coordinates Avedon's Alpha generation activities and leads the DACH activities together with his German partner colleague. Prior to this he was investment director at Avedon's predecessor fund NIBC Capital Partners and started his investment career at IKB Private Equity, where he focused on investments in manufacturing, automotive, and ICT industries. Before joining IKB Private Equity, Hannes was a manager in the Strategic Planning Department for Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars & Smart at DaimlerChrysler.
He holds a master degree in Business Administration from Vienna University for Business and Economics and holds a post-graduate master in Finance degree from Rotterdam School of Management.
