Michael Moritz

Managing Partner, Carlsquare

Michael Moritz is one of the founders of Carlsquare (formerly CatCap). He studied liberal arts at Albion College in Michigan, USA and economics and law in Freiburg, Berlin, Cologne and Bonn. He then worked at the Treuhandanstalt in Berlin on the restructuring and privatization of medium-sized investments. Michael also served as corporate finance consultant at Doertenbach & Co. in Frankfurt, where specialized in advising medium-sized companies and their owners on strategic acquisitions and divestitures.
