Theresa Hauck is Co-Founder and Managing Director of fintech Econos, founded in 2021. Econos offers private investors access to green investment opportunities in the private capital market (e.g., forest, renewable energy, and climate tech venture capital) using the latest blockchain technology. Professional investors have already recognized the financial potential of these alternative green investment opportunities and have significantly increased their investments in recent years. However, there is still a $50 trillion shortfall between now and 2050 to meet global climate goals. Econos offers private investors access to these attractive green investment opportunities, making a significant contribution to a sustainable future. Theresa Hauck previously worked as a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) focusing on strategy and finance in Berlin, and in the Chief Executive Office of the Secretary General of the United Nations in New York City. She holds a MSc in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and a bachelor's degree in European economics from the University of Bamberg. Personally, she is an enthusiastic investor and convinced that traditional financial institutions will have a hard time keeping up with the paradigm shifts of our time regarding digitalization and sustainability at the necessary speed and with the necessary credibility due to a lack of innovation.
