Tobias Hartz

Tobias Hartz is a Partner and Head of the Transaction Services team in Central Europe and Northern Europe at Simon-Kucher. He is also the Head of Simon-Kucher’s Berlin office. Tobias has over 10 years of experience in M&A, commercial value creation and corporate strategy. He works with Private Equity firms and strategic investors across target industries, having a special interest in Industrial Goods and Business Services, as well as Tech and Software deals. Tobias holds a Master in European Business from ESCP Europe, as well as an LLB from Bucerius Law School. He is co-author of numerous PE-focused publications, often delivered in cooperation with leading scientific institutions and cited in major news media. Current focus of his work is to optimize commercial value creation success by enabling the definition of a target-specific strategy during the due diligence phase. Tobias is also a successful startup entrepreneur with an avid interest in PE climate-impact investing.
