Prof. Dr. Andreas Dombret

Former Vice Chairman, Bank of America Merrill Lynch

From 2005 to 2009, Prof. Dombret served as Vice Chairman of Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Europe after previous employments with Deutsche Bank, J.P. Morgan, and Rothschild & Co. In 2010 he was appointed a member of the Executive Board, of Deutsche Bundesbank and also served on the Board of the Bank for Intl. Settlements, on the Basel Committee, as well as on the Supervisory Board of the ECB. After his term expired in 2018, Prof. Dombret returned to the private sector, and assumed a portfolio of advisory mandates for several financial institutions as well as for the international consultancy firm Oliver Wyman.
