Gernot Gutjahr is Partner and Head of CIO Advisory at KPMG in Germany, leading a practice of seven Partners and Directors, as well as more than 100 Advisors. His focus is digital strategy development and structuring of digital partnerships from a strategic, commercial, and legal point of view, as well as spanning strategic partnerships (e.g., standard and non-standard JVs), transactional buyer-supplier type relationships (e.g. cloud and outsourcing), and everything in between. He has been structuring such digital partnerships for several JV type partnerships between Fortune 100 clients and hyperscale cloud providers; several leading global asset managers; three top German banks, plus a Europe-based central bank; two of the top Swiss insurers, three of the top German insurers, and two of the top Austrian insurers; several Private Equity and Private Equity portfolio companies. He holds a M.Sc. in Mathematics, and has studied at Freiburg University, the UEA, and at Cranfield School of Management.
