Hubert Barth

CEO, EY Germany

Hubert Barth has been CEO and Country Managing Partner of EY Germany since 2016. Barth earned a degree in business administration at the University of Tübingen in 1992 and went on to work for PwC in Frankfurt, Berlin, New York, and Munich. In 1998, he qualified as a German Public Auditor and German Tax Advisor. In 2003, he joined Allianz Global Investors as Head of Financial Management. He became EY Partner in 2006 and led the Asset Management Transactions Advisory Business in Europe until 2012. From 2012 to 2016, he was responsible for EY Bavaria and the Regional Markets Organization in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. From 2017 onwards, he has been Head of Assurance in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria in addition to his role as Country Managing Partner.
