Dr. Jörg Beißel is a business executive who currently serves as the CFO of Lufthansa German Airlines. During the Corona pandemic, he took over the management of the so-called ‘Cash Office’ and was also responsible for Lufthansa’s restructuring program. From 2015 to 2018, he served as CFO and COO of Eurowings, where he was responsible for finance, personnel, IT, and procurement. Prior to that, he served as the Executive Assistant to the CFO of Lufthansa AG since 2006.
