Roland Ullrich has been an independent financial consultant, management trainer, and speaker since 2010. Ullrich studied economics at the University of Bonn, beginning his finance career in 1990 at Deutsche Bank, where he worked in various positions across Germany until 1995, at which point he started specializing in Equity Sales and Trading. After obtaining his CFA degree in the USA, he continued to work with Deutsche Bank as Director and Co-Head of European Equity Sales in New York.
After working for UBS in London and Frankfurt between 2001 and 2005, he became Global Head of Equities and part of the Divisional Board at DZ Bank. He started a new career chapter in 2010, when he decided to pursue his own brand. For more than ten years, he has been advising private and professional investors and traders, writing articles and books, giving lectures, and conducting seminars on the topics of trading psychology and investment strategies. He combines the exciting findings of modern neurofinance, behavioral finance, as well as cognitive and systemic psychology with his decades of experience in the international financial markets.
