Dr. Stefan Povaly is Senior Country Officer Germany at J.P. Morgan. Prior to being promoted to the role in November 2020, he was Co-Head of Sponsor and Corporate Leveraged Finance for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He is a Managing Director and has worked at J.P. Morgan since 2001. In addition to having advised private equity clients in structuring leveraged buyouts, he originated, structured, and syndicated numerous leveraged corporate financings, high-yield bonds, and leveraged buyouts for a broad range of industries and issuers in the EMEA region. Dr. Povaly has significant experience in arranging leveraged financings accross Europe, particularly in the German-speaking and Nordic region.
